Based on Kolb´s Research:                 

The LS-test is based on David Kolb and Dunn&Dunn´s model of the various learning styles . People think and act differently in many ways. One of the differences is in a person’s individual learning style  which has been described and proven for years by many scholars in the academic field .

The Ls-Test has been created based on the Kolb model and has been tested for many years. The test is also being used by people planning their careers and by companies using the test for recruiting new employees or for retention of current employees.
